We have always had a passion for renovating older homes as we moved across the country while in the United States Air Force. We have been renovating and creating a home for nearly 35 years. Each military move presented us with a new project. When we moved to Duluth Minnesota in 2005, we found our permanent home! We took on yet another project with our 1896 Victorian in Duluth's Lakeside neighborhood. 

After two years living in and renovating our Victorian, and Tim deciding to retire, we changed career paths by purchasing and renovating a historic Dutch Colonial into a Bed and Breakfast. A much bigger and massive project that we are proud to say brought multiple awards for the home and hospitality.

Now that we are no longer Innkeepers, our mission and goal as we choose our projects is to help bring life back to a lost and neglected home. Being able to renovate, update, and make a home safe again for a new family is our first priority and something we are so grateful to be able to do. We do not like the word "flip" - the connotation can sometimes warrant a bad inference. Instead, though we are technically taking on a project to later sell, we consider our projects to be re-creations, renovations and transformations. We approach each home with the notion that we would not hesitate to have any one of our family members make it their forever home. 

If there is nothing else we have learned from our time moving around in the military and these recent years, it is that Home is meant to be a Haven, a safe, secure place to love and be with those most important in our lives.

We are Duluthians - there is no place better! We take great pride in helping restore and renovate in our communities and neighborhoods, sharing our passion and providing a first time or a forever home  - a Haven in our Zenith City!
